Vail Valley Real Estate Agent by Trade, Kid's Ski Instructor by Heart! A.K. was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama (Mountain Brook). A graduate of the University of Alabama, she has over 28 years of diverse sales and business experience, including residential Real Estate, pharmaceutical sales, biotechnology business development, marketing, corporate communications, and investor relations.
A.K. moved to the Vail Valley in 2003. After experiencing many different job opportunities– from bartending to spa sales, interior design, wedding & event planning, to creating and running her own mini kids camp- A.K. realized that her passions are sales & teaching – Real Estate and Kids ski school.
During ski season, A.K. splits time between the office and mountain teaching at Beaver Creek Children’s Ski School part-time and showing clients powder stashes, hidden tree runs & all the kids' features. Everyone who knows A.K. realizes that a dual career selling homes and teaching skiing is the perfect fit. One of A.K.'s biggest strengths is her creativity in getting a deal done! A.K.’s clients are considered friends, and she enjoys getting together with them on and off the hill. A.K. lives in Avon and enjoys friends and family visiting regularly.
A.K. is thankful that she gets to “do what she loves & loves what she does” every day. Oh. Since everyone always asks, A.K. stands for Alice Katherine, but she has been called A.K. since she was born.
